Ellae knows the power of art. Art touches people with stories and shares previously unknown, unseen and unheard perspectives. It has the power to bring people together and globalize collaboration. Therefore, art is a unique means of communication and the most valuable superpower we possess.

= practical

Ellae sets concrete goals for an inclusive arts sector, where all creators can share their stories. We strive for a healthy environment and fair pay for creators. We strive to create neutral and safe spaces for women to explore and use their artistic freedom.

= empowering

Ellae empowers women artists and creators by guiding them to pursue their dreams and goals. We give artists a platform (online and offline) and provide an international network of (people and institutions). Ellae also wants to know how we can better protect our girls and women. How we create space for freedom of expression and self-determination. How we can capture the current zeitgeist, question it and bridge social gaps and balance it with our actions.

= inquisitive 

Ellae wants to know more about the representation of women the arts/culture and media sector. Therefore, we ask sharp questions and do the research necessary to find answers. We use research to create awareness, build legitimate argumentation and change discourse. We want to know where representation of women in the arts currently stands so we can determine what needs to be done and where we want to go.

With our projects and partnerships, we encourage new insights into:

  • Current representation of women artists
  • Challenges they face to build a successful practice.
  • Career development toward a creative industry aware of the lack of female representation
  • What people, institutions and businesses can do to create positive change for balance and justice.

= reinforcing

Ellae provides a space where women's rights are protected and empowered through the power of creative energy. We produce artistic products and experiences and provide collaborations and sanctuaries. We are a platform for creative impact with an emphasis on improving conditions and preconditions, social cohesion and interaction.
